Only a short walk from the nearest railway station, the Queensgate Shopping Centre sits in the heart of the UK city of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and houses over 100+ stores and parking for 2300 cars over 4 multi-storey car parks.

The centre itself was opened by none other than Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands back in 1982 and renowned retailing chain John Lewis announced that it would be welcoming custom once again in the city that it had relocated from some years back, and there it would remain until 2021.

A £20 million pound revamp was undertaken in 2011 and a further £30 million enhancement plan was submitted in 2015, with works starting from 2020, to further improve and entice new would-be retailer into opening stores on the site.

Penton UK worked to assist one of our key clients to implement a quality voice alarm system to ensure the safety of all those shoppers who visit the site on a daily basis.
