Description
IDA8 is a highly integrated PA/VA system that complies with current architectural demands, supporting IP and/or fiber-optic networking to accommodate even the most complex system designs. The IDA8C is EN 54-16 certified for use in Public Address and Voice Alarm systems. All system components and peripherals are monitored — from the microphone capsule to the end of each loudspeaker line. External cables connected to control inputs are monitored for short and open circuits, and an internally generated pilot tone is available for monitoring loudspeaker line impedance. The IDA8C controller integrates advanced digital audio processing (DSP), matrix control functions, and a digital message player. It also provides front panel access to a fully monitored fireman’s microphone and emergency trigger buttons. Additionally, the IDA8C supports amplifier monitoring, hot-swappable amplifiers, and loudspeaker line impedance monitoring. A single IDA8C can connect to up to 31 secondary units via ATEÏS-Net. Secondary units are available in several configurations: single zone (IDA8S), A/B speaker line configurations (IDA8SAB), and low-impedance monitoring (IDA8SL). The LCD touch screen panel on the IDA8C provides operators with a detailed overview of the entire system’s operational status.
